Wide Bay Stone is an independent, locally owned and operated family business that supplies and installs quality granite, marble, natural and engineered stone kitchen benchtops and splashbacks. The team—lead by owner Rob, along with Nick and Jason, are dedicated to ensuring each project is completed to the highest standard using quality materials.

Coupled with Rob, Nick and Jason’s experience in store, Nick and Jason are also qualified cabinet makers. The team are a formidable force.

As qualified cabinetmakers and stonemasons with a wealth of experience, working closely together, we can handle all aspects of your project in a quick, efficient and cost-effective manner. As well as stone benchtops for residential renovations and new builds, we also carry out a lot of work for builders and large construction projects.

OUR PROCESS

Measuring & Templating – Our experienced team will take precise measurements. Templating involves the stencilling of the kitchen which is used to cut and manufacture the stone. Templating takes place when the kitchen fittings, such as all cabinetry, have been installed and are in place. Once the template has been completed, it’s important to ensure that the kitchen cabinets are not moved in any way otherwise the benchtops will not fit correctly.

Manufacture – We select and quality check all materials and use state-of-the-art CNC machinery to produce the materials.

Installation – Our experienced team members will install your benchtop ensuring that it meets all of the pre-discussed requirements. We service Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Bundaberg and various areas within Queensland.
